Germany’s Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann agreed to establish a subsidiary of their Artec joint venture in the U.K., a move aimed at growing market share in the country’s service sector and pursuing export opportunities.
The arms manufacturers said Wednesday that the new Artec Boxer UK subsidiary would be responsible for providing the British Army with service and maintenance support for the Boxer armored transport vehicle.
